Media Convergence Plan

Media Convergence Plan To ensure that the specifications are met like linking both Product 1, the music video and Product 2, the artist’s website I must include the following Logo Adding the logo is one of the most important part when linking both products as the logo is a way of branding the artist. In my research, I found out that many artists would include their brand logo either in the beginning, the end or all throughout the music video. Therefore, to reflect a true and authentic artist’s website,   I will place the logo in every page in the artist’s website whilst in the music video, it will be visible throughout to exhibit the branding of the artist. Comments Including comments of the music video from fans on the website would show that product 1 and 2 are linked together. Video I will create a video of the artist thanking the fans. This will shows a strong link between the music video and the website as the singer will be included in the website too...

Webpage Questionaire Feedback

Questionnaire Feedback Five people from different age groups, in which they state by ticking the age group that applies and also gender, were given a questionnaire relating to the music video and the artist’s webpage. Another set of questions were also provided for a professionally produced music video that are similar in style, genre and form to the media product proposed. This will help guide the production of both the music video and webpage to ensure it will meet the preference of the target audience which are between the ages of 16 and 25 years old. The chosen songs are 17 by Marc Kinchen was compared with Perfect Strangers by Jonas Blue featuring JP Cooper. To ensure the feedbacks are fair, the set of questions regarding the music video are the same for both songs which also applies to the set of questions on the website. There are seven questions on the music videos which are as follows: ‘What do you think is the genre you would listen to?’, ‘Is the song’s genre a typi...

Risk Assessment

Health and Safety Hazard Why is this a hazard? How can this be avoided? Overcrowding Overcrowding can be a health and safety hazard as more people are prone to injuries. For example, when filming in Central London where even off-peak hours can be busy, it is hard to film in public as it is an open space and going against the flow of the crowd can hurt others. Moreover, when using filming equipment such as the dolly in public, when there are a lot of people around it may be hard to control them and warn to be aware of the dolly. However, if the dolly was it, it will not only hurt the person but also damage and affect the quality of the product. To avoid damaging any equipment used and hurt people due to overcrowding, I must aim to film when there are less people especially if they are in Central London. This means that I should try and film my scenes during working hours throughout the da...
